Gutfeld! Crew Hits Back at Joe Scarborough’s Attack on Fox News: He ‘Farts Nonsense’ and ‘Spews Propaganda!’
The crew of Gutfeld! bit back at MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough after the Morning Joe co-host went into a rant this week accusing Fox News of being “obsessed with trashing America.”
Kat Timpf, filling in for Greg Gutfeld, played Scarborough’s rant as the “video of the day,” calling the MSNBC host “more unhinged than doors on a Boeing.”
On Tuesday, Scarborough accused Fox of not giving enough coverage to Donald Trump’s hush money trial in Manhattan. He knocked the network for mixing in coverage of the southern border and pro-Palestinian protests while covering the trial.
“I’ll just say it, on Fox News, they didn’t want to show Donald Trump in trial, so they got three protests and said, protests shut down America, basically. This weekend, there were like four migrants and a hound dog on top of a hill in New Mexico. They had their four migrants and a hound dog cam on for hours,” Scarborough said.
The former Republican congressman claimed conservatives are constantly “running down” America.
“Kennedy, you work at Fox News. Do you hate America?” Timpf asked Kennedy.
Kennedy said the “idiocy” of Scarborough’s rants is one the reasons she loves America.
“I work with a lot of people I disagree with, but I get to go on TV everyday and talk about how much I love America and why I love America and it’s because blowhards like Joe Scarborough can exist and they can fart nonsense all over the airwaves and they can spew propaganda. He’s not going going to get arrested. He shouldn’t be arrested. People should be able to see this idiocy firsthand. They really should get a balanced view of the imbalance we face in the media,” she said.
Timpf later admitted Fox leans conservative but argued Scarborough is at a network just as, if not more, slanted to the left.
“Where does he think he works!?” she asked.
Comedian Jim Norton needled Scarborough over the lengthy rant, telling him to stop trying to channel Peter Finch in Network.
“Somebody should tell this idiot, ‘You’re not Peter Finch in Network, you’re not galvanizing the nation, you’re not an oasis of freedom in this desert of dishonesty. He’s boring,” he said.
The Opie and Anthony alum also roasted Scarborough for watching so much Fox.
“Here’s the best part of this whole clip,” he said. “That MSNBC sucks so badly that Joe watches Fox.”
