Trump Berates GA Sec of State in Stunning Call Pushing Baseless Election Claims, Says ‘I Just Want to Find’ Enough Votes to Overturn Results
Earlier Sunday, President Donald Trump revealed he spoke this weekend with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
Raffensperger shot back that his characterization of their conversation was not true.
Respectfully, President Trump: What you're saying is not true. The truth will come out https://t.co/ViYjTSeRcC

Well, the Washington Post obtained audio from that rather stunning call.
The president repeated his false claim to Raffensperger that “we have won this election in Georgia” and pushed him to publicly say they’ve “recalculated.”
Raffensperger patiently explained to the president “the data you have is wrong.”
Trump pushed some allegations he freely admitted were rumors, including ballots being shredded in Fulton County and “also that Dominion took out machines.”
Ryan Germany, general counsel for the Secretary of State’s office, told Trump that no, Dominion has not moved machinery out.
“But have they moved the inner parts of the machines and replaced them with other parts?” the president actually asked.
Germany again said no.
Raffensperger reiterated that they stand by the accuracy of the election, as the president berated him and baselessly claimed “you’re off by hundreds of thousands of votes.”
At one point Trump came out and said, “I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state.” (Joe Biden’s margin of victory in Georgia was 11,779.)
“We won the election and it’s not fair to take it away from us like this. And it’s going to be costly in many ways. And I think you have to say that you’re going to reexamine it,” the president continued.
He even suggested that their refusal to act might hurt Republicans in the Georgia runoffs because people “hate what you did to the president.”
