‘Goodness Gracious!’ CNN’s Harry Enten Stunned To Find Joe Biden’s Approval Ratings ‘Lowest Of Any President On Record’

CNN senior data analyst Harry Enten laid bare the harsh polling reality facing President Joe Biden as he faces “historically low” approval ratings compared to past outgoing presidents – including President-elect Donald Trump at the close of his first term.

Speaking on Sunday, Enten delivered a sobering assessment of Biden’s standing as he “goes out a very unpopular man at the end of a 50-plus year political career.”

Showing the data on-screen behind him Enten pointed out that Biden’s current job approval rating sits at a dismal 38 percent.

Biden came in to end the Donald Trump reign in this country, and all that’s ended up happening is that Joe Biden has managed to end up at a lower approval rating at the end of his first term than any president on record.

An average of polls on presidents who lost or didn’t run for reelection shows Biden’s 38% is actually lower than Trump’s at the end of his first term.

In an even more damning comparison, Enten examined polling that asked Americans whether they believed a departing president had been “good or great.”

In 2017, former President Barack Obama left office with 52 percent of respondents rating him favorably and Trump secured a 36 percent positive rating in 2021.

Biden, however, finds himself in a far bleaker position.

“Look at how low Joe Biden is. My goodness, gracious,” Enten remarked. “You can’t really get lower than 25%… because the bottom line is there’s going to be a bunch of Democrats who would say that Biden was a good or great president, no matter what he did, but yet it’s only a quarter of the country who believes that.”
