Dem Rep.: I Can’t Go to Trump’s Inauguration Because of His ‘Hatred’
Congressman Luis Gutierrez said on CNN this morning he will not attend Donald Trump‘s presidential inauguration because of his “hatred” and bigotry.
Gutierrez said that after going to the Clinton, Bush, and Obama inaugurations, he will not go to Trump’s. He explained that he’s dismayed with the “prejudice” Trump has displayed after calling for unity in his election night victory speech.

He went on to say that he’ll be marching and protesting on inauguration day to fight for the rights of women, minorities, immigrants, etc.
Gutierrez reacted recently to Trump picking Jeff Sessions for Attorney General by saying, “If you have nostalgia for the days when blacks kept quiet, gays were in the closet, immigrants were invisible and women stayed in the kitchen, Senator Jefferson Beauregard Sessions is your man.”
