Dem Rep. on Donna Brazile Email Flap: ‘Don’t Think There’s Much of Anything Going On Here’

Democratic Congressman Xavier Becerra appeared on Fox News this morning and said that despite the outcry over Donna Brazile, what people are alleging “never happened.”

Just to recap, Brazile sent at least two emails about questions Hillary Clinton would be getting at a town hall and then a debate. She said in another that she would “send a few more.” CNN has severed its ties to Brazile permanently and Jeff Zucker himself is clearly unhappy.

But Becerra told Fox’s Martha MacCallum that this “never happened” and said, “I don’t think there’s much of anything going on here.”

Oh, and he pointed a finger at Russia.

MacCallum pointed out the questions in the emails were “practically verbatim” and that there has been no mass cry of the WikiLeaks emails being made up.

Becerra insisted that CNN said they didn’t share questions and said, “None of this ever happened.”

A bewildered MacCallum asked, “How do you know that?”
