Fox’s Cavuto to Cruz: There’s No Fox News ‘Cabal’ to Help Trump

As Ted Cruz blew his gasket today, he went after Fox News for becoming “the Donald Trump network,” but this afternoon Fox’s Neil Cavuto fired back.

He said there is no “cabal going on” between Fox and the Trump campaign, saying, “If we are in the tank for Trump, the fact that he refuses to come on any of my shows is a funny way of showing it.”

Cavuto also doesn’t think Cruz is correct to say it’s in Fox’s interests to have Trump as the uncontested nominee, because––going off the “cynical” ratings argument––”the last thing we would want is this decided right now.”

He remarked that “it wouldn’t be good ethically” before moving in.
