MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace: ‘I Don’t Know if Donald Trump Understands How Much His Life Changed Tonight’
Now that the midterm elections have put Democrats in a position to take control of the House of Representatives, MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace says President Donald Trump might not fully grasp the implications for his administration.
Dropping in on the NBC network coverage Tuesday night to help analyze the election results, Wallace said that the House could soon launch a series of of new investigations into his conduct and various scandals.
“I don’t know if he understands how much his life changed tonight,” Wallace said. “Every tax return, every scandal – and there has been a lot for a White House two years in – they have been through more cabinet secretaries, and there have been cabinet secretaries too corrupt for Donald Trump, which is saying something.”
Wallace dismissed concerns about Trump framing House Democrats as his new enemies. But even though the administration correctly predicted their capability for retaining the senate, Wallace noted, “I think it is probably a safe bet to say that they don’t understand how much their lives changed.”
The MSNBC analyst also predicted that Democrats will restart investigations on Trump’s connection to Russian election-meddling, which may or may not lead to eventual impeachment.
