The View Derails Over Trump-Biden Feud: You Want Somebody ‘To Beat the Crap Out Of’ POTUS?!

The View, on Thursday, debated Joe Biden‘s pretty brash claim that he would “beat the hell out of” President Donald Trump for the things he’s said about women, and started taking bets about who would win in a fistfight.

“I think Biden would beat him,” Joy Behar said. “You know, [Trump] can’t even go to the bathroom without a golf cart.”

“This is such a dude response,” Sara Haines chimed in.

“There was something chivalrous about Joe Biden saying if we were in high school I’d take him out back and I’d kick his butt,” Sunny Hostin said. “I thought, you know, there’s something about that. Because he was also speaking at an event where he was encouraging men to stick up for women, not be just bystanders. So I don’t know.”

“I mean, that’s the thing,” she added later. “Trump is such a bully. I almost — and I hate to say this. You know, why hasn’t anybody taken him out back and kicked his little butt?”

The rest of the panel then jumped into action, trying to get Hostin to backpedal.

“We really shouldn’t be advocating for violence,” Meghan McCain said. “This is a dangerous area. When President Trump was saying this stuff during the rallies, during the election, all you guys had a lot to say about the rhetoric and people getting kicked out, not have a double standard here. I don’t like double standards.”

But Hostin doubled down. “Why doesn’t anybody just stand up to him?”

“He’s the president of the United States. You want somebody to take him out back and beat the crap out of him? That’s not reality. Let’s talk about the debt. I can’t with all this,” McCain said, to applause from the audience.

“I’m not advocating beating up the president, but why doesn’t anybody just stand up to him?” Hostin pressed.

“You know, here’s what’s going to happen to your behind,” Whoopi Goldberg said, with the authority only Whoopi can muster. “The Secret Service is going to call you.”

“Say ‘I didn’t mean it,'” Behar said.

“I mean, I wish somebody would stand up to the president,” Hostin persisted.

“We’re trying to help you. Stop! Don’t talk about it,” Goldberg yelled.
