The View Seethes at Nikki Haley Over Her Call for Dems to Replace Biden: ‘She Needs to Take Several Seats’
The co-hosts of ABC’s The View had a response for GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley after the former UN Ambassador called on Democrats to replace President Joe Biden in the general election: “She should take several seats.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin made that comment after a clip was played of Haley predicting that Biden would not be the Democratic candidate in “30 days.” Hostin mockingly pointed out, “Is she gonna be around in the next 30 days? She’s not gonna be the nominee either.” She ended by saying, “She needs to take several seats.”
C-host Ana Navarro had her own prediction about Haley’s chances at the South Carolina primary:
My bet is that in 12 days, she’s going to get beaten like a bongo drum in her home state by [former President] Donald Trump. And my bet is that she’s not going to be the Republican nominee. So if you want to put money on it, Nikki, I’m betting on Joe, not on you.
From there, the panel dove into the current state of the presidential race, including Biden’s dismal poll numbers. Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said the election is going to come down to a “handful” of voters in seven swing states, and “Republicans are often better at the messaging game.”
Then co-host Whoopi Goldberg outlined eight achievements by Biden since he took office, including “investments in clean energy and healthcare with inflation reduction,” Covid-19 relief, and the bipartisan infrastructure deal. But she punctuated her list with a question for Haley:
Nikki, what have you done? What have you done? Really? What can you point to? Because this man at 81 knew he was going to be 81 in four years and still said, “I’m going to do this anyway,” and he’s done it. What are you going to do? Nothing.
