Multiple View Hosts Dismiss Revelations From Jake Tapper’s Book on Biden Decline As Two Red Flag Dems: ‘Are They Beating a Dead Horse or What?’

Some panelists on The View were dubious about a new book detailing former President Joe Biden’s decline in office on Friday, dismissing the work and its shocking revelations.

“Are they beating a dead horse or what?” Joy Behar asked on Thursday’s The View after watching numerous Democrats be questioned on cable news about Biden’s age and stamina.

Sara Haines noted that after Biden’s June 27, 2024 debate with President Donald Trump, she called for him to step down but said she’d still vote for him.

“People lost trust in them because the voters were saying there was a concern. There were people across the board saying they had a concern. And the Democrats said, ‘No, no, no, no, over here. Look over here,'” she said.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former official in Trump’s first term, was the sole host to agree with Haines, later noting that the upcoming book by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson titled Original Sin, contains very specific examples, including that Biden did not recognize George Clooney at a June 2024 fundraiser.

Sunny Hostin made clear she disagreed with Haines and said it’s time for Democrats to move on from 2024.

“I want to move on from why the Democratic Party lost and I want to hear from the Democratic party about how we are going to take our country back and how What they are going to do to combat fascism and what they’re going to do to stop the Medicaid cuts that are going on, to stop giving tax cuts to billionaires, to start taking federal workers’ pensions away, to stop taking federal jobs away, stop taking education away, to stop attacking our institutions,” she said.

Behar questioned what good it does to go “over and over” the same material about Biden’s presidency, while Ana Navarro argued there is no value in “relitigating” the 2024 presidential election and mistakes made by Democrats.

While Navarro admitted Biden is not as sharp as the man she met decades prior, she blasted officials taking part in Tapper’s book.

“What his spokespeople keep saying is, was there any instance that you can point to where his cognitive skill in performing the job as president was compromised, and they haven’t come up with that,” she said. “I hate these campaign books where people talk anonymously. If you were part of that administration and didn’t have the the gonads to speak when you were part of that administration and now you are speaking and doing it anonymously, frankly, I don’t think this reflects bad on Joe Biden, I think it reflects bad on you because you are a complicit coward.”
