Hannity Defends Stephanie Ruhle For Pro-Harris Bias, But Accuses ‘Talk Show’ Host of Posing As ‘Journalist’

Fox News host Sean Hannity offered to give MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle a pass on what he described as a bias for Vice President Kamala Harris — admitting his own bias for former President Donald Trump — but knocked Ruhle for posing as a “journalist” when he argued, she was a “talk show host” like him.

The take came after Ruhle interviewed Harris on Wednesday for her first one-on-one network interview since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee.

Mocking Harris for being “brave” in showing up for an interview with the rival network, which he blasted as MSDNC in a knock at its liberal slant, Hannity weighed in on Ruhle’s interview, which he said was “not hard-hitting” enough.

Kamala Harris sat down for her first and only solo national interview — how brave — of the campaign, with, of course, one of her top supporters at MSDNC, Stephanie Ruhle. Now, she is a big supporter of Kamala Harris. She is rooting for Kamala to win. That’s fine in my book. She is a radical, left-wing talk-show host. Needless to say, this was not a hard-hitting interview with a nonpartisan reporter.

Taking a step back, Hannity said that, ultimately, he was fine with this, admitting that he was biased toward Trump when he interviewed him. But he did ding Ruhle by alleging she was dishonest in pretending she wasn’t biased.

By the way, that’s okay. I interviewed Donald Trump, and I definitely want Donald Trump to win. I am not shy about it. I say it all the time. We have members of — both members of the press. She fancies herself a journalist. She is not. She is a talk-show host like me.

“I am honest about who I am,” he insisted.
