Fox’s Perino, Tucker Carlson Talk Facebook Meeting: They Understand They Have Trust Issue

megyn perino tuckerMark Zuckerberg met with some high-profile conservatives today to talk about reports Facebook was suppressing right-wing news, and two of those conservatives spoke out to Megyn Kelly tonight.

Fox News’ Dana Perino and Daily Caller editor-in-chief Tucker Carlson both told Kelly it was a productive meeting and indicated Zuckerberg understood Facebook has a trust problem with conservative users right now.

Perino said she was encouraged by how seriously they took the concerns, while Carlson said it’s certainly concerning that Facebook is “far more powerful” than the newspaper barons ever were in influencing how people get their news.

He also shared some vague details about the atmosphere in the room and how the group of conservatives wasn’t “very” united, but they all agreed they didn’t want to “force a business to comply” with their requests.
