ACLU Enlists 9/11 Families To Encourage Terrorist Trials
“It is of utmost importance to me that those who were responsible for the attacks of 9/11 face a court,” expresses the mother of a fallen firefighter killed on September 11, 2001. This is the sentiment throughout a new video making the rounds online in which family members of 9/11 victims voice their support for federal trials of terrorism suspects.
The video first appeared late in the week, though the interviews were conducted before the Obama administration announced that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed would be tried in New York City, while other Guantanamo prisoners would also be brought stateside to face charges.
“My son gave his life to save those trapped in the Twin Towers and it does not honor him that we violate our Constitution in retaliation for what happened on September 11,” one mother says, while another says, “the judges can make a decision based on our Constitution.”
It’s a far cry from the “off with their heads!” heat of Saturday’s NY Post and other arguments of that ilk, but this measured and moving video carries a bit more gravitas, daring to bother with issues of intellectual honesty and human rights. The full clip can be seen below.

These trials are all designed to be a diversion away from Health Care and Cap and Trade and also to appease their radical leftist zombie base away from Afghanistan by trying to change the subject and keep attention on something else. Additionally, they are trying to get their way with the American people and it’s not going to work. They have no clue as to the pulse of the nation and I look forward to the day when the incompetent so called President named Barry Soetoro and his rather vile administration gets drop kicked out of the White House ball park. Barry doesn’t want his fellow Islamic friends to be put on trial…these thugs are Muslims and we found out with the shootings in Ft. Hood, Muslims shouldn’t harm other Muslims.
SI Swimsuit Cover: Brooklyn Decker Joins Illustrious Pantheon, Tweets About It

Ladies and gentlemen — eh, who are we kidding, gentlemen — your Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2010 Cover Model: Brooklyn Decker! As has become something of a tradition, the announcement was made on the Late Show with David Letterman, which broadcast the unveiling of a giant nearly-naked billboard in Times Square. Decker has additional SI heft by marriage: her husband is tennis star Andy Roddick. Wow, too bad their babies will be so ugly.
Welcome, @CraigyFerg! Craig Ferguson Joins Twitter
Craig Ferguson is the second late-night host to join Twitter. Over a year after Jimmy Fallon joined, foreshadowing his web-savvy show, Ferguson jumped in with gusto, tweeting 18 times in his first twelve hours. Does this foreshadow the rest of the late-night crew getting on Twitter?
