Anderson Cooper on Meeting with Officer Wilson: ‘There’s No Conspiracy Here’
Shortly after CNN’s Brian Stelter reported that a number of news anchors, including two at CNN, had met privately with officer Darren Wilson in hopes of securing a televised interview, Anderson Cooper confirmed that he had done so. Shortly after that began the theories that news anchors were in collusion with Wilson to skew coverage, something Cooper dismissed.
“I’d also like to intv the grand jury,” he tweeted. “There is no conspiracy here. Reporters want to intv people and sometimes you have to meet them first.”
For the record, I met briefly with Darren Wilson a few days ago to see if he wanted to do an interview with me. That's standard procedure
