Commence Freaking Out: Animal Death Map!

Map

As we approach the end of time amid a flurry of bloody feathers, fish carcasses, and plentiful crab cakes, Google has, as it always does, given us a means of approaching our imminent demise easily and with style.

A new Google Map created yesterday – “Mass Animal Deaths” – shows areas of the world that have experienced a recent wave of animal deaths, complete with a link to an article explaining each instance, as well as the number of animals found dead in each case. From dead snapper in New Zealand to birds exploding over Arkansas, troubling animal deaths are just a click away.

And, yes: So far, the map indicates that the U.S. is the animal death capital of the world.

I’m sure we’re the “animal death capital” because our media is paying attention and reporting on every incident, we’re developed enough to have fireworks, power lines and poisons, plus in much of Europe (who are our equals), they don’t really have a lot of wildlife because it was killed-off centuries ago.

I am going to put in for a Government Grant to Study this…..

I’m thinking maybe around $2.5 Million should do.

    Does anybody need a job?

  • lazzzlo

    you are over thinking.

It’s just a picture of a small monkey biting a stuffed caricature.

    Enjoy the art

If you like art it will always challenge you and it will also be from people that are younger than you are.

I think they are lazy and copy other people’s ideas.

But, every once in a while there is someone that does challenge your senses.

    That is what art is!

  • lazzzlo

The viewer should set a standard upon what they appreciate.

Over the years, I just have always been impressed by the intricacies of the artists craftmanship.

I’ve always called the skilled workmanship “pretty ‘bichin”.

And it is, with all the love I have,

I’m gonna root for all artists and voice my opinions as well.

    Some differ.

    Personally, I have virgin skin.

  • lazzzlo

lol, so back to the monkey.

You can’t help yourself, can you?

Let’s blame global war- I mean, climate change.

  • dahni

Global Warming caused it by heating up the CO2 emission to they were both absorbed faster by rivers, lakes and oceans forming more carbonic acid that killed the fish because the coral couldn’t absorb it fast enough because the tourists have stolen most of the coral reefs; and the rest of the CO2 rose because of the heating, and at about 14,000 ft it formed frozen crystals that the birds inhaled which caused them to lose consciousness and fall out of the sky.

The solution is simple. Umm… what was the problem again?

  • tjames

@dahni You just made my day…

I wonder if whats happening to the birds and fish and crab caused the goldstream river in Canada to turn fluoresent green? You can watch it turning color on the link.
