Daily Show Apologizes to California DA over ‘Sloppy’ Error
A California district attorney criticized Jon Stewart this week for lumping in a local case where a black man died after an encounter with law enforcement with other cases around the country. Stewart brought up the case of Dante Parker in talking about police shootings, but DA Michael Ramos corrected him and explained it was a tasing incident and Parker was not shot.
The Daily Show tweeted out this apology earlier today:

Ramos also appeared on Fox News today to address the minor spat in a conversation with Greta Van Susteren. You can watch the video here:
