Fox Business Revamps: Bolling To Host Money Rocks, Willard & Ramsey Out

Fox Business Network is undergoing some major changes as the network enters its third summer.

Eric Bolling will host a new 8pmET show, Money Rocks, Andrew Napolitano will host a weekend show, and Cody Willard and Dave Ramsey are out.

Bad news first – Willard announced on his blog yesterday that he would be leaving the network, effective immediately (via J$). He was previously a Happy Hour co-host. Ramsey, who previously hosted at 8pmET, is gone as well.

And now the good news – Bolling, who previously co-hosted Happy Hour at 5pmET, will host his own show, Money Rocks, at 8pmET beginning June 21. In the FBN announcement, FNC/FBN Chairman Roger Ailes said of Bolling (who joined the network from CNBC): “Eric’s ability to boil down complex financial issues to expose their real-world implications makes him the ideal choice to strengthen FBN’s primetime lineup.”

The third Happy Hour co-host, Rebecca Diamond, appears to be staying with the network – she was on the air this afternoon in a contributor role.

Judge Andrew Napolitano also will be hosting a show:

In addition to Money Rocks, FBN will add a new weekend program entitled Freedom Watch premiering Saturday, June 12th at 10 AM/ET with encore presentations on Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM/ET. Hosted by Judge Andrew Napolitano, the show will explore the topic of economic liberties and consumer rights as outlined by the United States Constitution. Each week Napolitano will be joined by a panel of legal and business experts to debate the expanding role of the government and how it affects taxpayers. Former Governor Sarah Palin and Dr. Rand Paul will be among the guests on Saturday’s debut episode.

Stossel, which currently runs at 8 PM/ET on Thursday evenings will now shift to 9PM/ET and continue to be presented weekly.

So to recap – Gerri Willis (formerly of CNN) now hosting at 5pmET, Bolling at 8pmET, Napolitano on the weekends.

It’s the new FBN – we’ll see how it plays out. Coming next, the revamped FBN advertising push…
