Glenn Beck’s CPAC 2010 Keynote Address (Full Video)

As promised here is the full video of Glenn Beck’s full keynote address at CPAC 2010 complete with chalkboard and what sounds like a couple of wannabe hecklers. I think all parties can agree, Beck knows how to captivate an audience.

Beck is pretty liberal. He gained his education free from Libraries? Those are funded by, guess what, the GOVERNMENT. Guess its pretty huge to hold two ideas at the same time that absolutely oppose each other. Beck and conservatives seem to propose that Liberals are evil, yet the liberal system of public libraries and education system allowed him to progress to where he is. Progressives are looking for, guess what, progress. We are true patriots who look for progress–there is nothing wrong with that. We just hope to change inequalities. Pretending that inequalities don’t exist is ignorance.

Your sarcasm is thick… but pretty funny.

Wait… you are being sarcastic, right?

No, I’m not blue, Marcus is delusional. Benjamin Franklin started the first lending library in the US; I hardly think he was one of those so-called “progressives.” Neither do I think he was a liberal, socialist, communist, or anything other than a true fiscal conservative. Anyone with an IQ greater than an artichoke would know that much just from reading “Poor Richard’s Almanac.” After the Constitutional Convention, a woman asked Mr. Franklin what kind of government had the framers created. He replied, “a Republic if you can hold it.”

As for people like Marcus, unfortunately there will always be people like him (“progressives,” liberals, communists, fascists) who would twist the words of others into some perverse translation that suits their motives. We must always remember that, as Glenn Beck said, these all are our enemies–they hate the freedom that so many have sacrificed their blood and treasure to grant to us. These are the looters and the entitlement class who would claim the wealth created by others.

Yes, inequalities do exist–that is a fact of life–but we must do what we can with what we have and that does not include claiming the wealth of others by some perverse law of entitlement. Our Constitution guarantees ONLY that we have the right to “pursue” happiness; it does NOT guarantee that we will find it.

How pathetic. Look what he’s “captivating.” yup.
