Hillary Rips GOP ‘Hateful Rhetoric’: Turning Away Refugees Because of Religion a New Low

Hillary Clinton went after Republicans on Twitter today for their “hateful rhetoric” on Muslim refugees.

Clinton has made it clear she supports bringing refugees to the U.S., and tweeted this attack on the GOP this afternoon:

We've seen a lot of hateful rhetoric from the GOP. But the idea that we'd turn away refugees because of religion is a new low. -H

President Obama yesterday rejected a “religious test” for refugees, but Republicans like Ted Cruz are arguing that there’s a problem with accepting in Muslim refugees because of the concern of Islamic radicals coming to the United States.
