Joe Walsh Has Threatened to Grab His ‘Musket’ If Trump Loses and Twitter Has Questions
Remember when former congressman Joe Walsh tweeted and deleted a threat of war against President Barack Obama? The man did not learn his lesson from the outrage and accusations of treason that followed.
Today, he tweeted this:
On November 8th, I’m voting for Trump.
On November 9th, if Trump loses, I’m grabbing my musket.
You in?

(If he deletes it, don’t worry! We have a screenshot on deck.)
The tweet immediately prompted questions. CNN’s Jake Tapper wondered about the meaning behind the tweet.
@jaketapper It means protesting. Participating in acts of civil disobedience. Doing what it takes to get our country back.

Others wanted to know if the FBI was aware that he was suggesting arming himself and heading into the streets if his preferred candidate doesn’t win.

A few tweets questioned the choice of weapon.
When they bring nukes, I bring a…musket? https://t.co/Vh6FnJumGA

So … who are you going to shoot first? Or is the musket a metaphor? https://t.co/w7V0xcWPvB

Others wanted to know about the act of musket-grabbing itself.
@Popehat @WalshFreedom I’ll bet he’s a “Minute Man,” if you know what I mean.

@walshfreedom Me too! (It’s a euphemism for masturbating, right?)

There were questions about whether or not Walsh is okay.
@WalshFreedom are you gojng to shoot yourself

but wait I thought liberals were the REAL violence-inciters. Joe, Joe, have you lost the narrative? I am worried about you https://t.co/FW74nOzC3b

These questions were more straightforward.
Do you *try* to say stupid things, or does it just happen? https://t.co/98Xqn3XnOx

@WalshFreedom what the ever living fuck?

Here are a few more of the assorted reactions to the tweet:
@WalshFreedom who you planning to shoot?
— Ian R. Thibodeau (@Ian_Thibodeau) October 26, 2016
@WalshFreedom And on November 10th, you can rot in prison.
