NMA News Gives Us Rupert Murdoch As A Shark In WSJ Vs. NYT Cartoon Short
Every time we try to stop writing about Taiwan’s NMA News and their warped animated retellings of the day’s news stories, they pull us back in. We should just admit it; they know exactly what it takes to make a viral video. Yesterday they pulled Sports Grid into their orbit by giving the world a clip of an animated old woman performing fellatio on Wayne Roone and, today, they hit the Mediaite sweet spot perfectly by giving an absolutely insane take on the Wall Street Journal/New York Times feud.
Not to spoil any of the cartoon weirdness but the video not only features Rupert Murdoch as a terrifying shark hybrid but also the staffs of the two papers as West Side Story-esque street gangs dancing their way around New York. It’s so awesome that the Wall Street Journal is even blogging about it. Looks like another win for NMA, however, we’re not sure it was so smart for them to bite the hand that embeds with a sly dig at online media at the end. The Daily Rehash? Ouch.
