A prankster at the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) tricked attendees into waving flags resembling the Russian flag during President Donald Trump‘s speech Friday morning.
As attendees wandered in, a young man in a suit handed out flags reading “TRUMP” over red, white, and blue stripes.”Pro-Trump flag?” he asked those passing by. Unbeknownst to many, the flag was actually the Russian flag.

Note that the flags were labeled “TRUMP” on only one side. So when seen on camera from behind, it would just look like the Russian flag.
Organizers quickly scooped up the flags. When Mediaite went back to try and find the man handing them out, he was gone.
