‘Resign’: Twitter Trolled NFL Commish Roger Goodell After He Announced Plans to Improve ‘Fan Experience’

On Wednesday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell shared, via Twitter, a letter he wrote to NFL fans about changes the league is working towards to improve the “fan experience.”
Here’s my note to @NFL fans about changes we are working on to improve the pace of the game and fan experience: https://t.co/agRImoaqSl
— Roger Goodell (@nflcommish) March 22, 2017
In the letter, Goodell wrote that the league was, among other things, working to quicken the replay process by bringing a tablet out to the referee, and discouraging their broadcast partners from going to commercial after kickoffs where they aired spots before the kickoff.
But Twitter had only one change they were looking for from the NFL commissioner: his resignation.
@nflcommish @NFL I didn’t see your resignation anywhere in this as far as improving fan experience

@nflcommish @NFL does it say “I quit” anywhere in there?

@nflcommish @NFL quit and the game experience will be more fun you personally are ruining the sport

Is it a resignation letter? That would improve the fan experience greatly.

@nflcommish @NFL I see it doesn’t mention your resignation…don’t see the league improving otherwise

Goodell, for the record, is reportedly under contract until March 2019.
