Trump Tweets He ‘Never Asked Comey to Stop Investigating Flynn’

President Trump is once again tweeting about Michael Flynn.

A day after breaking his Twitter silence on Flynn, the President is now claiming he never asked James Comey to stop investigating the ousted national security adviser:

I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn. Just more Fake News covering another Comey lie!

The President also declared that the FBI’s “reputation is in tatters” and pledged to restore its greatness:

After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters – worst in History! But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness.

He also picked up on the news of an FBI agent being kicked out of the Mueller investigation due to reported anti-Trump texts:
