Scott Brown Thanks David Koch For Money Before Awkwardly Asking For More

video

Yesterday, ThinkProgress posted a video of Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown asking billionaire David Koch for campaign money for his 2012 re-election. Well, it could be worse. At least he was talking to the real David Koch.

In the video, taken at the dedication of MIT’s David H. Koch Integrative Cancer Institute, Brown effusively thanks Koch for his previous contributions during Brown’s 2009 special election. He then goes on to awkwardly explain how much it would help to get more. It’s a nice little look into that less flashy downside of being a politician: the groveling. Not being billionaires, most of us rarely get to see all the begging that goes into running a political campaign. It’s a good thing too because, man, is it awkward. It’s also, like the Scott Walker prank call, another demonstration of just how much reverence Republicans embue the Koch brothers with.

Check out ThinkProgress’ video below:

Those are the real puppet masters. I don’t see that idiot (Beck) with his blackboard, drawing a chart a line to show the stupid links of the Koch’s to the fake grass root tea party rubbish. They are not even hiding it, they are doing it plainly, yet the ponies would have us believe that the tp are genuine. Right! I bet they are.

Wow, a politician asking for a LEGAL campaign contribution .

And in other news, the sun rose in the East this morning.

Scot should ask him for a new, used pick-up for the ’12 run.

Just another example that you have to SELL YOUR SOUL to run a Republican campaign.

Uh oh. Look out for the billionaire libertarians.

They want gay marriage legal, amnesty for immigrants via open borders, legalized marijuana, donated 10 million to fight the patriot act, and give to the CATO institute that was against the Iraq war.

In fact other than their free market, anti government views, they have a lot in common with liberals.

RINO TRAITOR brown’s irresponsible lunatic-left d-crat socialist supporting votes have lost him ALL support from the Tea Party, conservatives and responsible Americans.

Q: What’s the ONLY difference between RINO TRAITOR brown and a lunatic-left d-crat socialist?
A: One of them has an old pick-up truck.

In the underbelly of the US Senate (specifically, at the end of the lower

Amazing how you RepubliCon Forum Trolls think you’re so efficient at diverting a hot topic onto something else.

This report had nothing to do with Obama, or anyone else but David Koch and his Lapdog Republican Governor Scott Brown.

So, unless you have actual raw video, like THIS article has, on whatever rumor you’re trying to spread, I suggest that you just shut the hell up and get back to doing the Koch Brothers’ bidding like all the other Republican Whores are doing.

Personally, I’m not for “hating” anyone. Lord knows there’s enough of that going around already.

Every politician receives donations from somebody. Unfortunately, that’s how the American political system works. That doesn’t give you the reason to get angry and divert the topic away from your heroes.

And, seeing how you seem to think that America’s remorse for ever endorsing Palin has went away, maybe you should check the various polls on Palin’s approval rating, which is at an all-time low, running only 20 to 30-something percent, depending upon which poll you prefer.

These are the three things I hate most about the Koch brothers.

#1 (Sep 16 1992-Helped to devalue the British pound, forceing the British to pull it from the European Exchange Mechanism.

#2 (1997-Thailand blame them in there currency speculation for depleting there foreign reserves and igniting a crisis that spread to other Asian countries.

#3 (And what they said about growing up in 1944 Hungary, when they were confiscating property from Jews who were to be deported to Auschwitz.
“These ten months were the happiest time of our lives,we led an adventurous life and we had fun together.”

Wait a minute was that some othere guy that said and did these things????

“It’s a nice little look into that less flashy downside of being a politician: the groveling.”

As the super-wealthy continue to buy de facto ownership of our country, the rest of us had better get used to groveling, too.

“People should spend whatever wealth they have however they like.”

Even if they spend it buying politicians? Do we really need more bootlicking sell-outs like Walker running our government?

“We don’t like others spending our money, i.e. public sector unions donating money that comes from tax payers to give to politicians. ”

Incorrect. The unions contribute their OWN money, not yours, to politicians who will support working people. Not the worst goal, IMO.

Wealthy persons and corporations have far more money to buy influence than all of the unions combined. With a few exceptions, the wealthy have no interest whatsoever in the well-being of their fellow citizens or their country and are interested only in increasing their influence and wealth. Period.

Too many poorly informed conservatives and Tea Partiers have been deluded into advocating against their own best interests. Should America have a price tag on it? Should the USA be sold to the highest bidder? It’s happening now – and soon may not be stoppable.

MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Democratic Party has filed an ethics complaint against Republican Gov. Scott Walker over statements he made during a recorded prank call.

In their complaint filed Monday with the Government Accountability Board, the Democrats claim Walker violated campaign finance laws by apparently asking for support for politically vulnerable Wisconsin Republican lawmakers from a caller who he thought was a wealthy campaign donor.
