After a weekend of blogging and tweeting attacks from Current TV Chief News Officer (is it just me, or does that sound like a job posting for TASS?) Keith Olbermann, conservative pundit S.E. Cupp struck back this morning with a Special Comment of her own. Responding to Olbermann’s relentless barrage of insults about her intelligence, her honesty, and her parents, Cupp turned the former Countdown host’s signature segment against him.

Last Thursday, future Current TV host Keith Olbermann touched off some controversy when he tweeted, about conservative pundit S.E. Cupp, “On so many levels she’s a perfect demonstration of the necessity of the work Planned Parenthood does”

After several days of Twitter fighting, and online buttals and rebuttals, Olbermann has opted to lie about his intent, rather than apologize.

Yesterday, comedian Louis C.K. gave an interview on The Joy Behar Show about his new series, Louie. Something seemed a bit off but C.K. cleared that up quickly. He was still coming down from a ton of valium. Why was he on a ton of valium? Well, because he had gotten a vasectomy three hours earlier. The interview went pretty much as you’d expect an interview with a comedian on valium who just got surgery on his genitals would from there.

Former talk show host (and MSNBC host) Phil Donahue was a guest on Joy Behar‘s HLN show last night tonight, and the subject of former HLNer Glenn Beck came up.

Donahue says he’s a viewer of the Fox News host, but also pointed to a Daily Kos video as a must-watch Beck crash course.

Jesse Ventura‘s promotional blitz for his new truTV show Conspiracy Theory has been surprisingly political. On last night’s Joy Behar Show, he touched a nerve when he bluntly asked if President Obama “really run[s] the country” given his escalating commitments in Afghanistan. He also stormed out of The Opie and Anthony Show after being heckled by comedian (?) Jim Norton over his antiwar stance; both videos after the jump.

Joy Behar‘s new HLN show has had no shortage of high-profile and controversial guests since its premiere, and has made a big (and successful) PR push. During her first week on air it seemed like clips of Behar and her guests were all over the Internet.
