CBS’ Les Moonves Wishes Charlie Sheen “Worked This Hard To Promote Himself For An Emmy”

The guy whose television network has plenty invested in Charlie Sheen, CBS president and CEO Les Moonves, has made his first public comments about Sheen’s nonstop barrage of interviews–and frequent bashing of CBS. Noting that the troubled sitcom star, whose CBS show Two and a Half Men has been sidelined for the season, has been “on the air quite a bit these days,” Moonves takes a gentle jab, “I wish he would have worked this hard to promote himself for an Emmy.”

The new CBS talk show The Talk premiered this afternoon. The show is like The View, except more geared towards moms.

With Julie Chen as one of the hosts, CBS CEO Les Moonves (her husband) was bound to come up. He made an appearance today. Also, they talked about vulvas. Come look!

New York Post Report: Katie Couric Possibly Contemplating Move To CNN

The New York Post is reporting of a possible deal between CNN and CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric, who, according to friends cited in the report, is unhappy at CBS and “wants to be on the air somewhere before the [2012] Iowa caucuses.”
