Anderson Cooper Is Caught Eating David Letterman’s Meatball Tree-Topper
David Letterman was feeling a little Christmas-y on Thursday night’s Late Show, sending out a Tweet from his desk to his fellow talk-show hosts, wishing them a Merry Christmas and suggesting they all buy a zoo together:
Dave then asked bandleader Paul Schaffer why the traditional “big, beautiful, fat” meatball was missing from the top of the Christmas tree (the traditional pizza and traditional Empire State Building were still there). The camera quickly cut to a backstage shot of the green room, where CNN’s Anderson Cooper was eating it. Hey, it’s a fun little Christmas clip!
