So O’Reilly beats everyone again. I have watched his show on occasion, but I fail to see the attraction. I am amazed at these numbers! I thought everybody hated FNC, somebody is obviously watching or these numbers are fixed.
Even with Anderson back 360’s ratings were in the crapper on Wednesday night. Not only did Greta destroy him, but he lost to Olbermann and Maddow repeats not only in the total viewers, but in the all so important demo! I could be wrong, but I doubt he did much better last night, because he was on at 11pm and only got 157 comments on the live blog. Of course they were blocking a lot of comments that did not fit in with their Obama worshiping agenda.
Rumor has it that Anderson is going to co-host the stupid “Regis & Kelly” show today so maybe he will do or say something “scandalous” again to try and attract more viewers. At this point I wouldn’t put anything past him. I wish he would just get back to being a respectable journalist. I find it hard to believe that this is the same person that did such an excellent job covering Katrina.
If Anderson would spend some time keeping himself honest maybe he could raise his ratings without resorting to these silly celebrity circus stunts.
Most people have hated the liberal media for 30 years… Now they have 1 outlet. Fox is going to continue to gain ratings as the other channels push conservatives and normal people away.
Plus MSNBC will continue to gain as they pull liberals away from CNN which is also very liberal… but not as liberal.
I agree regards the media for 30 (or more years). But the last two years in particular, the media has moved from news to sheer spin; they don’t even try anymore to be honest or fair. They have become a laughingstock. MSNBC is clearly moving into second place as CNN flails around. When CNN made the decision “no more radio personalities” on air, while at the same time letting a comedian guest host LKL, one has to wonder…..when will Klein be fired? They clearly don’t have a clue. They are left, even as left as MSNBC imho, but they don’t have the over-the-top pundits — that is the only difference. CNN’s leftism is just more subtle, but it is certainly there.
You would think that media would have awakened by now. As the woman said to Spector: You have awakened a sleeping giant, a giant the media ignores. They report to less than half the country and ignore the others. As a result, they will continue to lose viewers and revenue while FNC gains. It is the only place conservatives can go to get the whole story.
Does this indicate that FOX viewers are couch potatoes who have nothing better to do with their lives than watch TV?
Not making a claim but wondering if there is a correlation.
The Seven Best (Or, Somewhat Memorable) Moments Of The Jay Leno Show

After 95 episodes, the epic failure known as The Jay Leno Show airs its final episode tonight. Of course, Leno himself will be back after the Olympics, comfortably at 11:35pm all over again. Which was pretty much the problem to begin with - the 10pm offering started as a similar product to the Tonight Show, and only became more like the old format as time went on.
No Surprise Here: FNC Dominates Ratings For Palin Tea Party Speech
• With all three cable news networks carrying Sarah Palin's tea party speech and Q&A after on Saturday night, Fox News was the clear winner in the ratings. During the 9pmET hour, FNC had more viewers in the A25-54 demographic than MSNBC, CNN and HLN combined. In total viewers, Fox News had more than double the combined total of the other three cablers.
