Fox News’ Dominant Demo Thursday
Cable news ratings, October 22, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:
• Fox News wins the A25-54 demographic on a nightly basis, but last night they achieved even greater success than usual. At 5pmET (Glenn Beck), 6pmET (Bret Baier), and 11pmET (Bill O’Reilly‘s repeat), the shows had a higher demo average then all their competitor’s total viewer average. The prime time demo average was higher than CNN, MSNBC and HLN combined. All shows from 5-11pmET had 635,000+ demo viewers.
• CNN’s Latino in America, from 9-11pmET, averaged 229,000 in the demo and 848,000 total viewers. It finished 3rd in the demo, and 3rd in total viewers at 9pmET and 2nd in total viewers at 10pmET.
