Gutfeld Clarifies Joke About Female Pilot’s Driving: ‘I Make Very Hacky Jokes’

Eric Bolling made two separate apologies for a joke he made this week about how a female UAE pilot leading airstrikes on Iraq could be considered “boobs on the ground.” Bolling completely walked it back and apologized. But right before his joke, Greg Gutfeld made this crack: “Problem is, after she bombed it, she couldn’t park it.”

Towards the end of today’s The Five, Gutfeld addressed the negative reactions he’s gotten about that comment, saying people “misinterpreted my joke.” He explained that anyone who knows him well knows “I make very hacky jokes knowing they are hacky.”

In other words, the joke was about the stereotype. Gutfeld praised the UAE for this “progressive move” and credited the “awesome” female pilot for doing her part in blowing the hell out of terrorists.
