‘Highly Unprofessional,’ ‘Very Sad’: Trump Goes Off on CNN Debate Questions
During tonight’s CNN debate, Donald Trump complained about a lot of the questions being asked about him to other candidates.
Jeb Bush was asked by moderator Hugh Hewitt why he thinks he’s better qualified than Donald Trump to be president and face Vladimir Putin. Bush went after Trump, as he has been doing all night, and Trump responded by attacking the question.
He called it “very sad” that CNN leads Bush “down a road by starting off virtually all of the questions” by bringing up what he’s said. Trump referenced the earlier undercard debate where he was attacked and complained that it was “very unfair that virtually the entire early portion of the debate.”
Hewitt jumped in to say “it’s not CNN, it me,” but Trump called the question “very unprofessional.”
And from there, Bush and Trump had their third and most ugly and personal debate fight of the night. Trump insulted Bush’s dropping poll numbers and predicted he’ll be off the stage soon.
