It is really annoying when you ‘comment’ about a single day’s ratings without any apparent awareness of what’s going on behind those ratings.

The Casey Anthony trial is the ‘summer obsession’ of our country. People who never watch cable news are watching HLN & even leaving their sets on HLN when they do other things.

This is going to continue for another 10 days to 2 weeks. Then they will start reporting Anthony “sitings” and that will enamor the average American idiot (and probably that will include at least a couple Mediaite writers too).

If you don’t understand the ratings, geet someone who does to write about them.

Beck didn’t “nosedive” at all, his ratings were off from peak but he had the most viewers ever experienced in that timeslot and consistently and handily whooped the sh*t out of everyone else at 5 o’clock up until the last day. Nice try though, go re-write somebody elses history.

Shouldn’t CNN just move Grace and Dr. Drew to its CNN channel and push MSNBC to 3rd (or 4th place). When your shows are failures, and another channel keeps its new viewers, seems rather obvious…..

It’s never going to happen unless Sean Hannity goes on the air and claims he’s joined the Church of Satan.

Oh, and by the way Rokker, Mr. Glenn Beck was on top of the ratings for his timeslot for the entireity of his appearance on Fox. Didn’t you get the memo?

That’s what MediaLite does.

Hannity is a nut job who is incensed with Obama hate ….he is trying too hard to show his disdain and losing viewers in the process….you can fool some of the people some of the time…etc etc etc
