Internet Gold: Six Seasons of Lost Re-Enacted By Cats
What is it about cats that the Internet loves so much? Debate as you wish, but the fact is that the Internet loves cats. So it’s a good bet that if there’s a video inspired by a big pop culture moment that involves cats, it will be huge. I’m not sure if 115,000 views in 4 days counts as huge in the viral video universe, but still, “Lost Re-Enacted By Cats in One Minute” has made its mark.
Those who will be saying goodbye to their favorite series tonight will also be saying goodbye to a complicated, wrenching, obsessive relationship with a convoluted but addictive TV show over six seasons. To those of us who stayed away from Lost because we couldn’t allow ourselves to get so emotionally involved in another J.J. Abrams tv show (Alias, you’ll always be my first love), it’s helpful to have one of the most complicated Wikipedia pages ever broken down in simple shorthand so that the rest of us can join in the orgy of head-bonking dissection, debate and discussion tonight after Gilligan and his friends finally get off the Island.
