Mitt Romney Introduces Paul Ryan As ‘Next President Of The United States’

Following a cry of “Obamaloney!” from the audience, Romney wrapped up his introduction speech by inviting all gathered “join me in welcoming the next president of the United States, Paul Ryan.”

After Ryan took the podium, Romney took the opportunity to come back onstage and correct himself.

“Every now and then I’m known to make a mistake,” he said as the crowd laughed. “I did not make a mistake with this guy,” he added. “But I can tell you this, he’s going to be the next vice president of the United States.”
