Obama: How Can GOPers Stand Up to Putin If They Can’t Handle CNBC Moderators?

President Obama ribbed Republicans at a fundraiser tonight for complaining about last week’s CNBC debate.

He mocked tough GOP rhetoric about Vladimir Putin “kicking sand” in Obama’s face and pledges from candidates that if they’re president, they will straighten Putin out.

“And then,” Obama added, “it turns out they can’t handle a bunch of CNBC moderators at a debate!”

And according to reports, he wasn’t done there:

“Let me tell you, if you can’t handle those guys then I don’t think the Chinese and the Russians are going to be too worried about it.”
