Police Reportedly Investigating ‘Suspicious’ Death of H.R. McMaster’s Father
Authorities in Philadelphia are investigating the death of former National Security Advisor General H.R. McMaster‘s 84 year old father. H.R. McMaster Sr. passed away last week in what was described as an accident — though law enforcement sources say there were “suspicious” circumstances over how it happened, according to ABC6.
McMaster Sr. died at the Cathedral Village retirement community on April 13 after he allegedly fell and hit his head. However, officials say that McMaster Sr. did not receive proper care for the head trauma, and that staffers told his family some records from the incident were falsified.
A spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office released a statement to the media, confirming that they’ve searched the retirement community and they are looking into the incident. Cathedral Village officials have said that they contacted the Department of Health over McMaster Sr.’s accident, and they are cooperating with authorities.
“We want to reassure you that the safety and welfare of every resident at Cathedral Village remains our utmost priority and we will continue to make every effort to ensure their well-being.”
