Read the FCC Complaints About the ‘Satanism’ and ‘Pornography’ That Is The Simpsons
Having debuted in 1989, The Simpsons is the longest-running American sitcom, the longest-running American animated program, and the longest-running American primetime, scripted television series. Despite the fact that America has become pretty acquainted to the program, it seems many people are still offended by it… and they want to let the FCC know.
In a Freedom of Information Act request, GovernmentAttic.org obtained a treasure trove of FCC indecency complaints against the show, ranging from 2010 to 2013.
One viewer did not like seeing a (cartoon) whale get blown up by explosives:

Others took issue with the show’s promotion of “satanism”:


And then there were these complaints from folks who’ve clearly never watched an animated comedy series before in their lives:

And some viewers really took issue with a female character kicking Bart Simpson in the groin…

…which apparently left him in “sexual agony”…

One complainant sounds like the kind of guy who spends a lot of time on political comment boards, warning others about how “America will pay the price” for xyz’s actions:
