Reporter Asks Obama About the FBI’s Findings on Hillary, State Dept. Security
New York Times White House correspondent Mark Landler asked President Obama at his press conference in Poland today for his reaction to the FBI’s findings in its investigation into Hillary Clinton‘s emails.
The president had not yet issued comment on what James Comey concluded about Clinton’s “careless” email use… and he still hasn’t. While obliquely referring to how “exhaustive” Comey was, Obama said he’s not going to give any comment yet.
Landler then decided to ask Obama for his reaction to the FBI’s findings about a “lax” culture of classification at the State Department.
The president said that is concerning, saying that the chief problem here is the “changing nature of how information flows.”
With tech communication changing on a constant basis and concerns of cyberattacks on the horizon, Obama said everything is “putting enormous pressure on the department to sort through” everything.
