For some organizations reporting incorrect news is their bread and butter. Hating me for having some doubts about something is a bit over the top, you should seek help. I just think it’s pretty likely given how long the plane was in the air after it was clear an attack was underway and most all other flights had been grounded. I don’t think it would have been wrong to shoot it down over a sparsely populated area either given the circumstances

I can’t figure out what’s worse, birthers or truthers. Truthers do bring up some valid points but most of them latch on to the tiniest thing to make a huge deal out of it. When, in looking for information about the 9/11 documentary by the French brothers, I see one site questioning the authenticity of the filming, with one of their arguments being that they weren’t even brothers–because one of them was taller than the other….

Shame these people can’t put their sleuthing skills into something productive like helping the FBI track down criminals, or, since their knowledge of science seems to be so advanced, applying to teach high school or university science courses.

Why would we want to celebrate the deaths of so many people killed then and in the subsequent two wars used to cover up the dereliction and malfeasance that resulted in the attacks that day?  I am profoundly saddened by the fact that so many don’t see what really happened to our country as a result.

Actually idiot, I have never thought the US government was responsible for 911. My only problem with 911 was the lack of preparedness of our government which is why I’ve always wondered whether or not flight 93 was shot down. 

Years after 911, we finally found out that Bush did give the necessary ”shoot down” order. So if Flight 93 was shot down it would actually make me feel a little better about our government’s response.

Aircraft have been around for about a  hundred years.   Look at past high speed impacts and compare to Flight 93, you’ll see it was an aircraft impact.  To deny that and to deny 9/11 is an insult to those who died.  I’d DVRd the NASCAR race yesterday while I was busy away from home, sped through it this morning since it turns out it was rained out – towards the end of my 4.5hr recording ESPN had a 9/11 segment that was about a young stock trader who rescued at least 12 people.  One of the planes impacted approx floors 78-84 and many people were trapped in the 78th floor lobby – this yound man, who either had been a fireman or at least his family were, coordinated survivors and led them down a working stairway to about the 61st floor where fireman met them and took them to a working elevator on a below floor – he went back up to the 78th floor and set up a triage to help those who couldn’t walk or save themselves.  Six months after the building collapse  his body was found among uniformed fireman in the remains of the 78th floor lobby.  He was a hero and his family, friends, and all the lives he touched were blessed by his courage and actions.  Be anarchists all you want, but please don’t disrespect  the memory of the victims of 9/11, including Flight 93.

The problem with these whacko truthers is when confronted with facts and science, their only response is to ignore reality and hold tighter to their paranoia. Scientist have disproven everything they hold so dear, yet they stubbornly ignore the facts and start to draw conclusions that are even more bizarre. Steel beams do melt…oh but it wasn’t in a real building therefore it doesn’t count. Yes I am sure that it was shot down.  This is not to say that passengers did not make an attempt to take over the plane again but the government had no choice but to shoot the plane down.  It was a terrible decision that had to be made quickly.  Three planes had already hit their mark and this one was headed more than likely to the white house.  What a tragedy but I guess the government had no choice than to put this spin on it because of the civilian lives that were lost and they probably decided that the public would never agree with that.  I think that they were wrong, everyone knew that it had to be done.

Fighter jets were in the area, and I did hear a news report that day of 2 crash sites in PA, which I never heard again. I also heard the sonic booms of the planes breaking the sound barrier as they flew over in route. Its not hard to figure out when you put the pieces of the puzzle together. The government was not going go let that plane reach its final destination. Had to be done.

And the video was taken MOMENTS AFTER the plane went down. Tell me how that huge plume of smoke got that high that fast. Not possible. Why was the video not released until now? For fear of disproving the fabricated story.

Fact: Same thing happened at the twin towers that remains had to be found by sifting.

Which was debunked. The coroner who said that never expected that his statement would be used in that manner. That statement was hyperbolic in nature, and he went on record as such when he discovered that people were quoting him to support their conspiracy theories. There were remains found at the crash site, but only very tiny pieces of people were recovered. They weren’t dealing with just bodies or even large chunks of bodies like heads or appendages. They were finding little chunks of people and fingers and shit. The crash basically pureed everyone on board.

Think about it:
If you heard a big explosion, how long would it take for you to find your video camera and get it working? Three to five minutes? No cell phone cameras back then. Sound travels about one mile in four or five seconds. Fifteen miles away makes that another minute after the event before the guy even knew anything happened. By the time the camera was working, that is plenty of time for the fireball remnants to rise a few thousand feet.

  Ten years later and we still haven’t found the true crash sight for Flight 93!!  Ten years later eyewitnesses still say and believe the jet cruiser was shot down by one of our own jet fighters!!!  Ten years later, I and many other Americans are still asking, ‘Where’s the wreckage of the plane, where’s the bodies from the flight???!!!  All that was seen was small scraps of metal, and no wings, tail, engine, body of the plane, and more amazing, no bodies to be found anywhere!!!  Perhaps the first responders were given the wrong crash site location!!!

A cable documentary Seconds From Disaster documented one of the stewardess’s covertly speaking to air traffic control via som type of phone right up to the point the liner crashed.

The explosion on board was likely caused by the air to air missile fired by the chasing jet
fighter.  Was the government going to let a plane known to be hijacked reach its destination
after the second trade tower and Pentagon had been hit already that day? Of course not!

At some time between 10:10 and 10:15, a military aide told the Vice

President and others that the aircraft was 80 miles out. Vice

President Cheney was asked for authority to engage the aircraft. His

reaction was described by Scooter Libby as quick and decisive, “in

about the time it takes a batter to decide to swing.” The Vice

President authorized fighter aircraft to engage the inbound plane. He

told us he based this authorization on his earlier conversation with

the President. The military aide returned a few minutes later,

probably between 10:12 and 10:18, and said the aircraft was 60 miles

out. He again asked for authorization to engage. The Vice President

again said yes.

At the conference room table was White House Deputy Chief of Staff

Joshua Bolten. Bolten watched the exchanges and, after what he called

“a quiet moment,” suggested that the Vice President get in touch with

the President and confirm the engage order. Bolten told us he wanted

to make sure the President was told that the Vice President had

executed the order. He said he had not heard any prior discussion on

the subject with the President.

The Vice President was logged calling the President at 10:18 for a

two-minute conversation that obtained the confirmation. On Air Force

One, the President’s press secretary was taking notes; Ari Fleischer

recorded that at 10:20, the President told him that he had authorized

a shootdown of aircraft if necessary.

Minutes went by and word arrived of an aircraft down in Pennsylvania.

Those in the shelter wondered if the aircraft had been shot down

Dick Myers that our reports are there’s an inbound aircraft flying low
