Trump Brings Supporters on Stage to Declare They’re Not ‘Deplorables’

During a campaign event in North Carolina tonight, Donald Trump brought about a dozen supporters on stage to declare in one voice they are not “deplorables.”

A black couple spoke and the husband declared, “My wife and I are not deplorable people… We are not racist at all! We don’t even fit on that list that she put out!”

Another woman who came up to say she’s not a “deplorable” said that it’s time for Hillary Clinton to “take a nap.”

One of the people on stage was a pastor who said that Trump’s positions on life, the family, and Israel make him the best choice for the presidency.

“After all the horrible scandals that Hillary Clinton’s been involved in,” another man said, “and then she has the gall to call us deplorable, it’s unbelievable.”
