Weekend Starting Story Of The Week: Colorado Man Gets In Brawl…With A Bear

There’s a lot of bad news stories out there just begging to bring us all down. Here, though, is a story to remind you all that it’s now weekend. A Colorado construction worker named Justin White was taking a break behind one of the houses he was working on when he stumbled across a 300 pound bear. The bear ran up to him and attacked. Fortunately, White lived to tell the tale with relatively minor injuries. MSNBC described the event succinctly with the brilliant headline “Man brawls bear, loses.” Yep.

I think my favorite part of the following video is the end where White brags that, in the past month, he’s been “chased by a bull shark, bitten by a poisonous snake, and attacked by a bear.” The moral of this story is clear: Never, ever go camping with Justin White.

It’s like the incestuous bear who laid its paw on the table.

Great story Jon! Thanks for catching and posting it.

That guy’s got almost as many problems as Obama-co does right now.

Please tell us all, is it true that his nickname is “Lucky”? haha

And, I’ll expand or you “moral of the story” too, but just by a bit, by vowing to stay miles away from “Justin White”…

It’s not a brawl, his ass was handed out to him.

“There once was a man from St. Clair
Who had an affair with a bear.
    But that vicious old brute
Took a swipe at his root.
And left nothing but buttons and hair!”

    So be careful out there.
