Anthony Bourdain “Almost Wept” When he Saw a Vegetable After Coming Back From Buenos Aires
Anthony Bourdain appeared on CNN this morning with Chris Cuomo to talk about his time in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The country is known for its meat, which would seem like a fantasy land for a carnivore like Bourdain, but he said that even for him it bordered on too much. He said he didn’t have a salad the entire time he was there, and that when he came back and saw a vegetable he “almost fell to his knees and wept.”
He also talked about mental health, and the lack of stigma about it in Argentina. He said everyone there has a therapist, and that they’re all talking about their therapy all the time. Cool.
