Jimmy Kimmel Rips Into ‘Congress Demons’ Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene for Heckling Biden During SOTU

Jimmy Kimmel harshly condemned Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) for heckling President Joe Biden during his State of the Union address.

As Biden was calling for more research into the toxins soldiers and veterans have been exposed to through burn pits overseas, Boebert shouted “Thirteen!” at the president.

The heckle is likely a reference to the 13 United States troops who died at the Kabul airport as Biden pulled soldiers out of Afghanistan last August.

Kimmel threw up a picture of Boebert and Greene shouting from their seats in the House chamber, calling them “congress demons” who just “took a break from yelling at the busboys at Applebee’s to yell at the president.”

“Here they are, looking like they’re five hard seltzers deep at a Thunder Down Under show in Vegas, but it was embarrassing,” Kimmel quipped. “Even some of their fellow Republicans were embarrassed.”

He then noted that the congresswomen “heckled him just as he was talking about his deceased son, Beau.”

Before Biden was interrupted, he was pointing to the many soldiers who and are “never the same” due to burn pit exposure overseas, often falling to “cancer that would put them in a flag-draped coffin.”

“One of those soldiers was my son, Major Beau Biden,” he added following Boebart’s heckle. “We don’t know for sure if a burn pit was the cause of his brain cancer, or the diseases of so many of our troops. But I’m committed to finding out everything we can.”

Kimmel noted that as “irritating” as Boebart and Greene’s behavior was during the State of the Union, “we do have freedom of speech in this country.”

“Which means I can remind you that Lauren Boebert is married to a guy who went to jail for showing his penis to a teenager in a bowling alley,” he added.

“And Marjorie Taylor Greene spent last weekend speaking at a conference organized by a pro-Putin white nationalist. Klan Mom—this woman has so many issues with people wearing masks. When it comes to people wearing hoods? None at all.”

Yes, Boebart’s husband Jayson Boebert did jail time after he exposed himself to two young women at a Colorado bowling alley in 2004.
