WATCH: Eddie Huang’s TED Talk Surfaces After ‘Porn’ Lost Him The Fellowship

So it’s not as thorough as Fresh Off The Boat, or as thorough as, say, all the 20-minute TED talks out there. But Eddie Huang’s TED Fellow speech on self-identity — and how he managed to embrace his Taiwanese-American-Korean identity through food — is five minutes of pure Huang. All that’s missing are the gajillion ALL CAPS that serve as a hallmark of his writing. It’s really too bad they kicked him out after he went on an unauthorized field trip to David Choe’s podcast/warehouse of perversions duing TED 2013, because another hour of this would’ve been golden.
