Fox’s Neil Cavuto Reads Mean Letters and Emails Predicting He’ll Burn in ‘Hell’ For His ‘Sh*tshow’
Fox News’ Neil Cavuto became very animated when reading some of the mean letters and emails he’s been getting from Fox viewers before ending Thursday’s show on a somber note.
“‘Tis the season for letters and emails. They’re back, along with texts, and you talking about me. And what a wondrous time of year, until I started reading what a lot of you were saying! And let’s just say, more naughty than nice, but you decide,” Cavuto began, adding:
Keith writes the following, “I’ve been waiting for this chance!! Cavuto thinks people like him. It’s Christmas, so I’ll be charitable. They think you’re the embodiment of evil, even though you wrap yourself in the cloth of fair & balanced. You are neither. You are simply despicable. Now I know why Trump and every other true American loathes you and never watches you.” Well, Keith, get it off your chest. What do you really think about me?
Then there’s self-professed born-again Eleanor that agrees with that sentiment: “You have the audacity and Godless gall to criticize Donald Trump, God’s very messenger here on Earth, thereby assuring your endless wailing and crying in the unforgiving fires of hell!!”
Connie writes, “I hear you just call balls and strikes, that you like to treat people fairly, and that you refuse to share your opinions. News flash: you’re dull. Deal.” OK, I’m dealing.
Sara: “Jesus loves me but I’m pretty sure he has no use for you. May Satan have you back, you shallow uni-party globalist pig, and may a host be found for all your stupid show. Ratings will soar. Peace will rule on earth.” All you’re missing there, Sara, is the Amen. So, Amen!
Cavuto read a few “nice” messages before landing on, “Tip: Never turn in to ‘The Five‘ too early, you might catch the end of Cavuto and it’s a real’ — I cannot say, rhymes with it — ‘show.'”
But perhaps the meanest of all was when a woman named Cassie took aim at Cavuto’s health.
“Cassie writes, ‘Illness changed you, Cavuto. Maybe it was your heart operation years ago or maybe it’s your M.S. progression. But you’re not that guy you were. And you look like crap. You’re not aging well,” he added.
Cavuto then turned serious.
“It is true; physical things have a way of piling up, and they do teach you a thing or too about the fragility of life and how you might want to comport yourself in life. I don’t believe in mean or nasty. I don’t believe in shouting or screaming. I do believe we all share this precious planet for a brief time. Let’s try to do so with dignity.
“That is why I value my ailments, as weird as it sounds. I might be sick sometimes, but I never let it get me to be angry all the time. Ailments do that. Realizing the limitations of life do that. They teach you about something more important than anything I’m doing here. They teach you to be human,” he concluded.
