‘It’s All Me’: Fox’s Bret Baier Claps Back At Viewer Accusing Him of Wearing a ‘Rug’

Fox News
Fox News host Bret Baier has probably faced a lot of criticism throughout his career, but when it comes to the most the legitimate concerns that face any newsman worth his salt, he is sure to have a say and stand up for himself. And that includes his hair.
While hate speech has greatly increased since Elon Musk bought the platform last year, something that hasn’t changed is the trolls. Trolls have always existed on every social media platform, though now it seems they have finally won the power they have always craved. And one of them singled out Baier, accusing him of wearing “a rug” in the middle of a chain of tweets in which radio host Hugh Hewitt praised Baier’s YA graphic novel The History Club:

That’s super rude, so here’s a link to Baier’s very fun-looking book, which is about history and time-travel and just came out last week.
Time-traveling back to Bret’s hair, the Fox host didn’t have to, but he responded to this tweet very cordially, explaining that his very sculpted coif is 1. “all me” and 2. the result of curl-taming gel that he uses “to get it to lay down.” He then thanked the troll for being a fan:
My hair is 100% my own – I promise. It’s super curly and I need to put gel in it to get it to lay down. But it’s all me. Thanks for watching though. https://t.co/ud737nOmAw

Baier did not share the brand of gel he uses to tame his anchor-worthy mane of curls, but now viewers can imagine what kind of torrential curl storm would happen if he decided not to use gel one day. Maybe Bret Baier will show up on camera on your teevees looking like a freaking lion. His hair could be that curly. He could be using that much gel.
Either way, we don’t expect our newspeople to report on themselves, so we thank Bret Baier for staying ahead of the story.
