CNN’s Kaitlan Collins Roasts Trump Cabinet For World Class ‘A**-Kissing’ On Real Time
CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins roasted President Donald Trump’s cabinet when comedian and pundit Bill Maher brought up the level of “a**-kissing” at a recent dinner for tech heavyweights.
On Friday night’s edition of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, the interview guest was Steven Pinker, professor and author of the forthcoming book “When Everyone Knows That Everyone Knows…: Common Knowledge and the Mysteries of Money, Power, and Everyday Life.”
The panel guests were Kaitlan Collins, CNN Chief White House Correspondent and anchor of the weeknight show “The Source with Kaitlan Collins”; and Stephen Moore, senior visiting fellow in economics at The Heritage Foundation and co-author of “Trumponomics: Inside the America First Plan to Revive Our Economy.”
During the panel segment, Maher mocked the obsequious comments by leaders at this week’s dinner, and Collins punctuated the conversation woth a pointed reference to Trump’s unique cabinet meetings:
BILL MAHER: Well, speaking of winners and losers, he had a little dinner there, was it yesterday, was it last night? Yes. Every, talk about the Riddler, the Joker, every…
KAITLAN COLLINS: It was amazing to watch everyone’s faces as the other person was talking and just to…
BILL MAHER: Okay, this is every major motherf**ker who’s in who’s in the tech world, and let’s be honest.
KAITLAN COLLINS: That’s how they labeled it on the White House schedule.
BILL MAHER: That was the chyron, every major motherf**ker. And let’s be honest, the reason why our economy has kicked ass so much is technology. We have the biggest tech companies in the world, and we just have been dominant. And the reason I think the economy is still up there is because AI.
