‘Wanna Feel Safe? Donald Trump Ain’t Your Guy’: Coulter Savages Trump, Praises DeSantis Over Response to 2020 Riots

Commentator Ann Coulter savaged former President Donald Trump and heaped praise on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis during an appearance on an episode of the PBD Podcast released on Thursday.
“This reminds me that you want, you want to feel safe. And boy, we don’t feel safe now, especially in New York and LA, San Francisco, I mean, if you’re a single person like I am, where do you go?” began Coulter, before suggesting that rising crime rates could be traced back to the riots that followed George Floyd’s murder in 2020.
“And that was the George Floyd, May 21st, 2020, changed the world. We suddenly we have to release all the criminals, among other things,” said Coulter. “One place you would have been safe in 2020 was in Florida. Thank you, Ron DeSantis, passing law after law where you can shoot looters, anti-rioting laws. I mean, there were specific actions he took that made, that meant there were no riots, and no police stations were burnt down and you did not have police being assaulted.”
Then the author of In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome! plunged the dagger:
What did the commander-in-chief do? What did Trump do? He sent out tweets in all caps, LAW AND ORDER, point one. Point two: You know what he said in the first debate with Joe Biden, and this is after a year of them burning, BLM and Antifa burning down police stations, ripping down statues, I mean, anarchy like I’ve never seen in this country before. When that police station went down in Minneapolis, I was watching TV crying it was so horrible. They talk about January 6, let’s talk about that. At the first debate, what did Donald Trump say to Joe Biden? ‘You called them super predators. I’m releasing people from prison.’ How about the First Step Act? Thank you, Jared [Kushner]. He’s releasing criminals. You want to feel safe? Donald Trump ain’t your guy.
The PBD interview with Ann Coulter was a bloodbath! She nuked these dudes.
Co-Host says he wants to feel safe again. Ann says “did you feel safe in 2020” when BLM burned down our country? There was one place where you were safe and that was in Ron DeSantis’s Florida! 🖐🏽🎤 pic.twitter.com/9UMla6SIho

Coulter broke with Trump during his presidency over what she described as his failure to live up to his promises. Last month, the two engaged in a war of words with Trump describing Coulter as “washed up” and Coulter calling Trump as a “gigantic pussy.”
