Andrew Schulz Demolishes Trump On Epstein: When He ‘Started Talking About Obama’ it Was Obvious ‘He’s Guilty’
New York Times columnist Ezra Klein joined the Flagrant podcast his week, hosted by Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh, but was by no means the sharpest Trump critic in the room, even though Schulz both publicly supported and voted for Trump in 2024.
Schulz, who interviewed Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign and was part of the so-called “manosphere” of alternative media that helped elect him, has become a fierce critic in recent weeks, especially over the Epstein Files and increased government spending.
“He is rebuking the base, like almost like spitting in their face. They are asking for it. He campaigned on it. He put Bongino and Kash in there, which might be the stupidest thing in the history of the world. Why would you put the two guys that have nonstop pounded the pavement talking about how we’re going to expose this Epstein thing, and the second they get in there like, ‘You better shut the fuck up,’” fumed Schulz, accusing the Trump administration of a 180 on the Epstein case.
“You had to shut them up. Go on Rogan, lie. It is a very peculiar thing. It worked, in that I think it moved any of the smoke off of Trump because at least for me, I was like, there’s no way that he’s involved if he’s putting Bongino and Kash in who have campaigned on exposing it,” Schulz said, adding:
Why would you hire those guys or appoint those guys? So I’m like, he can’t be, but the fact that he will not touch this and then this last week, him doing the shit distractions. Dropping the MLK file. Like, who asked for the MLK file? Who asked for MLK?
“You know what’s funny is I’m not a huge conspiracy theorist, and I was initially like, the Epstein thing for me was just the last straw in terms of you not getting things done. And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m sure there’s some smoke, they’ll release it,’ but the more they’re doing to hide it, the more I’m like, ‘Oh, they’re hiding something crazy,’” replied Singh.
“I mean, I didn’t necessarily… I was like, there’s probably something,” Singh added.
Schulz agreed, saying, “The second he started talking about Obama, I was like, ‘Oh, he’s guilty.’”
“Yeah. Yeah,” agreed the other guys in the conversation as Schulz said, “Like, why are you talking about Obama and treason?”
“You got a guy who has sex with teenagers that you were protecting. Also, some of the lies…” added one of the cohosts as another said, “He’s protecting pedophiles. Trump is protecting other pedophiles. Facts.”
